Next Saturday, I will be performing with a new band, our first time out. We call ourselves DOORS OF THE HEART, after one of the songs we recorded on the album I recently released with Mark Weldon. After retiring from pastoral ministry recently, I look forward to family, travel, study and more flexibility of schedule. Three avocations I will continue include writing, speaking and performing music. Next weekend will be the first appearance, at First Baptist, Trussville, Alabama for their 2nd Annual Cruise In. It will be an outdoor car show with activities, food trucks and a music stage. We’ll be performing at 11:00 am for about an hour! Come on out. We’ll be doing all original songs, mostly from the new album.
